A Challenge is a virtual fundraising event where you commit to an activity and goal, such as swimming 5 miles, walking 62 miles, or taking a photo every day, while raising money for the ºÚÁÏ´óʪPosts Cancer Society. Over the course of the challenge, you'll share your goals and progress on your fundraiser and social media to inspire friends and family to support your efforts with a donation. Every dollar raised helps the ºÚÁÏ´óʪPosts Cancer Society continue working to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

While offline donations can¡¯t be added directly to Facebook fundraisers, there are still several ways to support your efforts.

The ºÚÁÏ´óʪPosts Cancer Society uses Facebook and GoFundMe to host virtual challenges because they are familiar platforms that make it easy for people to come together around activities they enjoy while supporting a shared cause. These challenges help build community, increase participant engagement, and provide a simple, accessible way for people to fundraise and make an impact in the fight against cancer.

Our incentives (t-shirts and medals) are shipped automatically once your fundraiser hits $25 or more raised. Incentives are shipped via USPS and can take 3-4 weeks to arrive depending on what state you are in. For questions, please email us at challenges@cancer.org.

Participants under 18 should have permission from a parent or guardian before participating. Some fundraising platforms may have their own minimum age requirements and account restrictions.

Challenges bring people together around a shared activity while raising funds for the ºÚÁÏ´óʪPosts Cancer Society. By sharing your fundraiser with friends and family, you're helping raise money to fund lifesaving cancer research, provide support for people facing cancer, and advocate for policies that help prevent and detect cancer earlier. Together, participants are helping end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

Our Challenges operate on the honor system. Participants are welcome to use fitness trackers, mobile apps, printed trackers, spreadsheets, or any other method that works best for them.

You do not need to report your progress to the ºÚÁÏ´óʪPosts Cancer Society, and we do not monitor or verify challenge completion. We encourage participants to share updates on their fundraiser and social media to celebrate their progress and inspire support from friends and family.
